Well, ever since I broke in the S-25 it has been gaining power. I'm somewhere inbetween 1 and 2 gallons and I don't what it was but it started pulling awsome wheelies! I guess it could have been the conditions but it was running great and very fast. I love my savage :D

i am glad you love it, i will miss mine a whole deal, but i really want a buggy for racing!!

I have found very few things my savage can't over (other than vertical inclines). I hit my friends NMT an WOT and the suspension just gracefully took the bump and left no damage on the savage or the NMT. Its a lot of fun.

After having two T-maxxes and a stadium truck I got the Savage used on a whim.

Wow.. I thought the hobby was frusteratig by nature. It turns out the Savage really re-newed my interst in the hobby. I love it.

More power, makes it easier to tune (not underpowered).
More durable means less down time.
More up time means less wrenching/maintainence/less money out

I hear buggies are faster and more durable than the Savage, if this is true then you are going to love your buggy.

For those who started the hobby with a savage or a buggy you're lucky.
For those who are frusterated with the hobby, grab a savage.. you'll love it.

I'm pretty sure the buggy will be faster (has more power and is lighter) but i don't about MORE durable. The savage is a beast and if my buggy can hold up too that would be awsome.

I did start out quite frusterated in this hobby. I started off with a RS4 3 SS. The engine took me a full 2 weeks to get started and during those 2 weeks i was about to take a sledge hammer to my 12R SS, but then that magical day came and it started. Ever since then I have been having a blast. Luckily the savage was very easy to breakin lol. I hope the buggy will be easy too :)

Yeah I started out with a kyosho buggy.I have to say that was the best nitro car I've had, until I got the savvy.I mean it always ran, never broke.I has buddies with 1/10 nitro cars that would break stuff or they couldn't even keep theirs running I had the buggy for about 8 months. It was EXTREMELY durable.I bashed it to the max. I took numerous 8-10ft just landing on concrete. Only broke a wheel from the whole deal. It's not really for bashin, its for racing. And since I don't race,it didn't fulfill my needs always. I only broke 1 lower arm in the whole time I had it. But now I have the savage and it's just so fun to drive. I think if your gonna have one to play around the yard and not race then the savage is the answer. You should try
www.savage-central.com they have lots of videos of bashing to see how durable they are

Yeah, I love my savage but I wanted something that could turn better and still go off raod. My touring car turs on a dime and savage just rolls so I wanted a good handeling off road nitro, the answer was a buggy. But I'll still love my savage!!

I think Savages Rock!I started with a Nitro Stampede...I think Savage is way better...but I am sure you already figured that out.

My savage is a lot more fun the my RS4 3 SS, I'm thinking about selling it soon but I might hold on to it, not sure. Anyway I went bashing with my savage again, still pullin' wheelies and I'm lovin' it!

I gave my Stampede to my uncle (since he bought it for me anyways) when I got my Savage. Then my dad bought one for my brother and my dad is going to buy one for himself.I had alot fo fun playing with my Stampede but it just didn't match up to my Savage.

prob. becuase it from duratrash, jk i am glad you are enjoying your savage

Just bashed a little with my Sav at lunchtime and I reminded myself why I like it so much more than the T-Maxx. The thing is just so stable hitting large bumps and stones at high speed. Freakin awesome.

I agree, I just love the way the savage call handle huge jumps on land them gracefully. It even rolls gracefully, when I land a jump wrong it bounces in the air does a few flips, taps the ground and goes back in the air for some more flips until it comes to a stop on all four wheels at the bottom of the hill and I drive away, i love it :D

YES......I love my Savage too
