i KEEP BURNING OUT MY SPUR WHEEL, EARTH QUAKE 3.5

For some reason, I had to replace my spur wheel kit three times, it seems to be melting after about a full tank run.........some thing doesn't seem right here, it shouldn't get that hot on one full tank, It seems like the little pads or plastic plates are just melting too fast..........I'm I doing some thing wrong

have you set the gear mesh correctly? i am still running on the gear that came with my 3.5 and also have a steel gear and have no use for it yet

If it's melting the center not the teeth,you're too loose with your setting. Tighten it down all the way and back off 1/8 turn.

you must have something set wrong because since i bought mine i havnt had any trouble with it through like 5 tanks
