Is there any advise out there for me, I get really good top end out of the engine but it is a slug off the line. and after its been running for like 5 min or so it will stall and i can not get it to start again with out either waiting like 10 15 min or pulling the glow plug out and cleaning it up. it also is going through glow plugs like crazy...

How much fuel has been run through it ? the symptom of crapping out after a few minutes and then being able to restart cooled off is a tell tale sign of compression loss. the sluggish take off is due to lsn being set to fat (rich). my suggestion would be to set hsn 3 1/2 - 4 turns out from bottom and set lsn screw flush with carb body and see how she does. if top end is good and take off is sluggish lean lsn 16th turns until she comes alive. If motor is running at 260-280 and smoking well and still craps out after a few minutes, its time for a rebuild. hope this helps

Seal the engine. Do a search on here on sealing engines. It's easy. Also, check your head bolts. Especially if there is burnt crap on the head. Reset slightly lean of factory settings(4 turns out hsn. 2 turns or flush on the lsn). Make sure the fuel lines and tank cap seal are good, install a new glow plug, and make sure your ignitor is charged all the way. Should start, then let it warm up and tune it.

It has only had about half a gallon maybe ran through it and its been a pain in the butt since i got it honestly, i have the 2.5 on my rustler and its great this thing is just one problem after another.i did the reseting to factory settings and now its having trouble cutting out when i give it gas at high rpms. but the low end is good any ideals now? its running rich not lean now as well still having issues.

Well it looks like you made some progress, depending on what you mean by cutting out at high rpms i.e bogging or flaming out that is a tuneable issue. refer to the nitro tuning tips and flow chart in the nitro rc talk forum. That is some great info, follow it closely and i bet you will get her right, and of course follow Matt's suggestions above. hang in there, you will get it right
