Is this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=19168&item=5955421655&rd=1 an ok hump pack?

also, what is the best way to charge and preserve my 7.2 for the ez-start?
I have this charger: www.duratrax.com/caraccys/dtxp4100.html, but it didn't come with any directions, and neitther did the battery. Should i leave it trickle charging all the time, or only after I use it?

I've never been good with batteries. I know this is pretty basic stuff for you guys, but I just don't have much experience.

Any information about maintainence and care of rechargables and such would be greatly appreciated.

well my understanding ( i am not good with batts ethier) is charge the batt and let them trickle for a few hours and always use and charge them after they have had a chance to cool down and discharge them all the way. but if I am wrong dont harp on me I dont know much about batts
also that is a good pack but it is odd that it is hump and not flat I always thout people ran flat packs with a maxx

With my electric rustler 7.2 volt I always discharge the batteries all the way down they hold a charge longer and a stronger charge It has a little more power. I have a Venom discharger that works very well I got it on ebay for around 7 bucks something like that I dont remeber for sure it was a long time ago you can also get chargers with built in dischargers good luck

I have that same battery pack. Seems to work good. Rather than wire it straight to the switch on the battery box I soldered a connector on it and on the end from the switch so I can unplug and replace in future if necessary. Also put a plug end on old battery holder and keep in tool box with batteries incase pack goes dead before bashing session is over. As far as the easy start battery I wouldn't be to concerned your just using it for the easy start not to run an electric vechicle or anything. In other words your not worried about peak performance. Hope I was some help.

thanks guys, that was really happy. I don't know where else I would get this information. My LHS is about an hour away, and I am totally alone in my interest in this hobby.
The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know.
