hi, i have the stock gas tank on my savage 25 and to me it seems that the run time on that gas tank isnt long enough. So i thought to my self could i put a bigger gastank on it and then i thought could i hook up two gastanks on it. so thats my question can i hook up two gas tanks on my truck?for example have the hose on the muffler go to one gas tank and a hose going from were it sucks the fuel go into the the seconed gas tank and from there in to the carb. i dont know if it will work so I'm asking your guys opinion on this

thanks,mr.? (AKA: Jay)

I have ran 2 tanks before, I used a smaller Buggy tank as my normal tank, just because I hated the half lean issue with the stock tank.

I ran the fuel line from the main tank to the smaller tanks pressure line, and i ran the secound tanks fuel line to the carb of the engine. I was able to run fine but the exta weight wasn't to my likeing, I had a race savy.

Here is a pic of my dual tank set-up I used to run. The brackets to mount the buggy tank were from New Era I believe.

I had no issues with tuning and I did not have the leaning out problem with the second tank.

One problem is the mounting position. I have grenaded 2 tanks due to some ass end landings. There is no protection for the tank where it is mounted.
