WHen the savage first came out I heard you could convert to maxx suspension is this true?????? I know you would have to convert to the pivotball carrier but still...:jester:

Using the A-Arm from New Era Models (see agm130's link), the only thing you need to do is get a set of T-Maxx shocks.

The stock shock towers and the rest of the stock kit are just fine the way they are.

I mean maxx a-arms I read that you can use them somewhere (think it was RCCA)

using maxx shocks isn't that bad of an Idea though 8-0  :jester:

Are you getting a savage or somthin?

The T-Maxx A-arms are totally different. There might be a way to jury-rig something; but I'd say if you want to go with the T-Maxx suspension, go the route already described above.

The savage suspension works good and EP hasn't broke it yet so it must be good

(or has he???)

EP has modified his suspension, and he rarely breaks things of that nature.

He modified it to take two sets of springs per shock. He is currently running the stock red T-Maxx set on top of a set of Trinity Blacks. He'll have to tell you the particulars of how he did it, but it max's out the ride height and does a pretty darn good job taking the landings.

Hay El, give us the scoop on how you did it, and the characteristics of the ride. I assume it is stiffer from what Sky said.
