this truck wheelies so much, i had it on its top more than the wheels yesterday.
in doing so i wore through the antenae where cover meets body and cut my range considerable.how can i patch the 2 pieces together?
 
What radio set? Its best to replace the entire antenna, but you need to match the length to the old one.
 
I actually run a 2.4ghz system and the rx antenna is like 2 inches, so it stays tucked within the electronics box with no problems. So you may luck out with whatever way you go.
 
it is a 2.4ghz truck. its brand new with less than a gallon run through it. ant was only about 6in long to begin with
