After a few months of saving, i finally bought one. i was hopping the SS was going to be in at my LHS but no luck so i picked up the RTR kit. i pulled the motor off took it apart was going to do some porting but i remembered i sold all my tools awhile back like my flywheel wrench. so i put it all back to gether:D. now i can't find my tire glue so i can't even glue the tires till tomorrow:doh: i did pick up a dyamite pipe for it but i dont have a wire mount. so again that has to wait AAHHHHH can't anything go right today??? LOL i will have some pics soon!

You might find that the tires are already pre-glued (mine were).

I spent some serious dough at my LHS today, and I actually passed up the SS. They had four sitting on the shelf. I'll have to get one later and just enjoy the toys I have.

You will love the RTR. It rocks, and you will be able to upgrade the parts to the SS ones as they get released. In the meantime, break it in, then break it. Have fun.

Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy? Savage SS or Buggy?

You guys are lucky! I'm sitting here contemplating while you guys are building and braking in.

yep you were right!! it seems that they dont glue the entire tire and i happen to pick a spot that was loose  thats cool saves me from going to the shop to get some glue.

i tried today but i couldnt get it to freaking start. i first put in the fuel and primed the engine. no luck. i checked the glow plug, still nothing. so i checked the carb settings. i got the high end needle right but the other 2 its like i get one set and when i would "close" the other one it would unscrew the one i just set (if that makes sense) I'm no newbie to nitro engines but this one is a pain!!! it almost started once but by then my fingers had blisters and i was out of patience! i will try agian if its not raining again!

What plug are you using?

LOL...I used gloves on the first tank for my Hyper 21 8-port. After that tank, it was smooth sailing. Started up on the first or second pull each time.

whatever came with it. i noticed that I'm losing compression somewhere either the head gasket or the little ring on the plug. i guess thats something else ill check tomorrow.

I would recommend getting a new plug. The one that came with it might be shot. Long shot I know, but most engine starting problems end up being related to something minor like an air leak or bad glo-plug.

WOOT WOOT!!! i finally got my savage broke in!!! it only took 3 days!?! i ended up putting a hotter plug in it and she fired up. now the fun begins!!
