There is an $85 chassis you can get to make 55 mph possible. I wouldn't do that though if I had only one car.

Could you please explain just how changing a chassis will increase the speed of a Micro from around 18 mph to 55mph?

I think he meant the chassis upgrade will allow you to fit a 540 motor in it. If you do that you will need to upgrade just about every other part on the vehicle to make it strong enough to handel the motor and speed it brings you. My Micro does around 30mph (don't have a speed gun so I did the math on a 100ft trap) and I broke the steering bar, plastic axels, and blew out my front diff. Good choice on the Micro SiletGT. I am really enjoying mine.

Ed is right on that one. If I got that chassis I couldnt just throw in a 540, you would need to upgrade EVERYTHING ELSE! as it is small and plastic and a 540 would make it as fast if not faster than a 1/10 touring.

I never said the chassis was the only thing you had to buy. I said it can make 55 mph possible. Possible with the upgrades neccesary.
