With the wider chassis as a base I lowered the car 1mm using shims, installed a personal transponder, went to deans mini plugs with 20 guage wire instead of the fat ass tamiya plugs with 12 I had, made a 6 cell AAA pack instead of the 6 cell AA to cut down on weight, dropped in a modified motor, as well as a new receiver to allow the use of my 3pk, and last but not least frosted the cake with a new lid. We will see if all of this helped because tonight is race night and I'm going after the mod motor running M18 thats been consistently whipping my a$$. :sneaky:

Nice LeMan chassis! Is it the ARM or something else? I like it, how does it handle with the batts on oneside?

I picked up the chassis at my lhs for $10.00 it is some kind of generic chassis. I love the way the car handles, its much better then before, I would however like to have mounted the batteries on the right side of the car but the belt did not allow this.

Its no Motek....

How does that Motek handle?
