When you guys said the traxxas motor wasn't good as for holding a tune and such, I sit here wondering why mine is(or was) good. well, one of my friend's friends has an old maxx that needed a bit of work. the motor and the transmission needed a bit of tuning so i decided to tackle the engine first. 3 hours later I finally got the bastard dialed in! Got the tranny dialed in but that motor was almost impossible. I left the kid a guide for tuning the engine (the factory settings and such)cause it sure did come in handy for me.

I too have a old Maxx and that thing is a major pain in the rear to keep it runnig right its really getting me frustrated!

Yeah I havent had to much luck with it right now It wont run but I think its my fault I forgot to empty the tank and it sat for a week or more.
