I just ordered some new parts for my stock savage .21! I got some RD logics tires and rims(the tires with all kinds of squares on them that all the racers run), an Ofna micro fail safe, and a 1200mah hump pack with charger. It all only cost me $94 with shipping! Tomorow I plan on going to the local hobby shop and buying an aftermarket air filter(dynamite or motorsaver what evers in stock) and a gallon of Traxxas top fuel 20%! Then maybe a pipe off of ebay or a bigger engine! MUWAHAHA!:thankyou:

sounds good. you will definately notice a difference with a hump pack, and with a bigger air filter. I would recommend motor saver.

sounds like your on a good start. i would suggest looking into some high torque servos, if you havent already. and imo there are better fuels out. maby look into white lightning or rocket science, or maby even trinity.

just remember that u will need to retune your engine slightly b/c of the airfilter and potential change in fuel. TF has mor oil than most brands...

I was looking at my truck last night and I noticed that the steering servo is a hitec 645(i think....:ponder2: ) MG! So I should be good there.... What else whould I get?

a stronger brake servo will help you alot. check out the 625mg for that.

do you have a fuel filter? nice cheep bit of insurance there.

I went to the hobby shop and bought a Pink dynamite air filter(all that was in stock...:( ) I also bought a gallon of 20% traxxas top fuel. I next plan on just waiting and doing some driving before I upgrade any more parts.... By the way yesterday I was driving and I guess some where I broke the top cooling fin. It is only missing about a 1/4 of the top fin, is it still ok to drive it or do I need to replace it?

Go bash it man, It will be fine.

if that fuel filter is aluminum you can go to the dollar store and get some "greased lightning" cleaner and soak it in that and it will make it plain silver. then just rub it with a bit of never dull and make sure you rinse it out good. no more pink.

Its an air filter...... I dont care though becuase I also have pink fuel tubing because my fuel tubbing was old and my friend had some new pink fuel tubing that he wouldnt use cause hes a puss so he gave it to me! The filter is like lite girly pink and the fuel tubing is a darker hot pink. Purple and pink its a girls truck!
