Well, I have heard that you cannot be considered an R/C person withough breaking something or having something happen to the trucks...Well, I can honestly say I DROVE THE WHEEL OFF MY SLASH!! LOL

I had not programmed the truck correctly and was given the tip by CharliesTheMan and did a reprogram on the Slash...Well, I took it to the parking lot here in my office and ran it a couple times and it to me seems faster, but I could just be hoping. So I called my best friend up and had him drive out to the track to give it a run with him and me taking turns to really see if it was me or the programming worked. I handed him the remote he hit the accelerator and ZIP, it took off and he looked at me with a quimsical look. I just smiled, it was not just me. He barely turned the nob and it did a 360! Dirt and debree flew everywhere! I then told him to try taking it around the track to see if he could go around and it started flying through the track. I felt like a little child getting a new Christmas toy! I have videos of his run and then of me running it and will add them to here once I download it and learn how to use PhotoBucket to download it. But it was fun as heck!!:first_place:

The tire came off later on as I was running it but it not a bad issue, just came off LOL.

Ain't bashing fun?! I had the Slash out the other night and drove it hard around my circular banked driveway. After a few minutes of running a few of my neighbors came out to see what the racket was about. Pretty soon everyone was laughing their asses off as I was jumping off driveways and crashing and barrel rolling into and underneath cars.

I wonder what it will take for you to become an RC ADDICT?! :hehe:

Well, if this keeps being as much fun as I am having now, Not much! :D

The wife keeps calling me a big kid when I tell her I am going outside to play with my truck LOL (Doesn't help that I say it in a kid voice either LOL)

This is the first time I raced it on the track. As you can see it was not doing much, I will download the other video tonight to the site and then let you see that one LOL There will be a total of 4 links when I am done, two from one day and two from me "bashing" the heck out of it LOL

This is after I found that I was not programmed correctly

And tomorrow afternoon, I am going to post more videos to here. They are going to be racing a lot of trucks as far as I heard and I will be taking the Slash out and running with them to show them the Slash. I think it will be a LOT of fun!

Looks like the reprogram made a huge difference! It was just kinda poking along in the first 2 vids and really screaming in the second 2. Nice job!!

Hey, remember when it still looked like pictures 1-15?

Looks like you had a blast. Them vids even brought a smile to my face. kudo's on the save you pulled off on that triple, a few more days of practice there and you'll be ripping it up and power sliding through the turns.

It seemed only yesterday that it was so nice and clean (keys music and the pictures of the truck roll in)...Not any more! :naughty: :hehe:

Yeah, and I will have more vids today of all the races I will be watching. I am hoping someone will take the video of me running it again today at the track. Man it is SUCH a major difference now running that Slash now. I LOVE IT!!

Thanks on the save comment. You would not believe how many times it took me to get that one to land even halfway decent LOL. I was pretty proud of that save. :D

Thanks hpinitromt, its a blast on that track. I just got back from racing and I ended up taking second over all in the class I was racing in. (there was only three of us racing and the one that won was a brushless set up and not even a truck.) But man was I all over the place! I need tires that will grip for that track. The stock tires are not great for as loose as it was today. I could not get anyone to film it for me while I ran but I do have some videos that I will put in the video section so check those out once they are loaded.
All in all, I had a great time and learned a little more! LOL. I have a long way to go, but as time goes on I will be getting better and better I think. :D

Pretty soon you'll be tweeking the suspension and swapping out wheels/tires by just looking at the track. Time to convince the wife of the dire need for some racing gear. :D You got the most important thing done, you had a blast. I think some people (in general) are so competitive that if they don't win, they don't have fun. I'm going to try real hard to get out to my local track this week sometime, probably Thursday evening. They are open till dark, so I'm gonna take my son and see about running a few practice laps........I can't wait to run on a track.

That maybe sooner then expected on the tweeking LOL. I am in the process now of trying to figure out what tool I need to set the Toe-In and the Cambers, front and back
