i am new here, and i am wondering about aluminum on my 2.5.

RC Driving Style
i ordered all aluminum a-arms, bulkheads, and shock towers. i am going to try to sell my maxx after that. what should i ask for it? i have $750 in it. it has the sirio .18 engine. if it dosn't sell i would like to get the pipe to go with the engine. does anyone know where i can get it? i have looked all over for it and cannot find it. thanks oh the 2.5 comes with 1 extra steering and throttle servos, extra stock rims and tires, 1 extra chassis, stock shock towers, 8 extra stock shocks, 2 paranah batteries- 1 1500 and 1 1800 and a dynamite 1500, 2 battery chargers. thanks
 
I believe he's asking what a fair price is more than advertising that it's for sale, he may even have a prospective buyer in mind already.
 
ya i am asking waht i should ask for it. i was thinking about something like 850 after i get all the stuff on it. i am looking at putting about 200$ more into it
 
Just a quick question, you stated you had $750 in it why would someone pay $850 for it? Remember it's used and unlike a house an RC loses value used.
 
i also said i was going to put $200 more into it before i sell it. this truck is also brand new, only been broken in.
 
Its only worth what someone will pay for it !
The only way to sell a truck for that kind of price is on e-bay to someone that doesn't know how to build their own. To get that kind of price you will have to get lucky and find the right person at the right time.

I have seen people try to sell trucks with 2-3K invested in them and only get bids of 5-600.00.

Thats why it's just better most of the time to just keep em. I wouldn't sell mine because I am one of those guys who has about $1700 spent on my Maxx and would only get around $600 if I was lucky.
 
why would u put that much money into ur truck anywayz if u are just going to go and sell it. there aint no point!!

As you can tell I'm in a real hurry to get rid of it.
By the time you get it Ill have to guilt you into buying my worn out half dead trashed out truck with no compression. :D

Ummmm, Yeah thats the one.
Sorry man It takes a moron to bend the antenna on their TX. Ill pay for my sin and get a new one for you.
