ran 2 pints of trinity when i got the car (was broken in). was told that stuff sux and possibly leaves rusts deposits over time and get odonnell. now i'm told that the engine is tempermental if not compliant w/this fuel. what gives?

You should be using an After Run Oil of some type. Ask your LHS. most engines if not all will develop build up if storred away and not lubed properly. These things end to happen with left over fuel in the engine. That can gum your engine up well. I like to clean out the engine thoroughly every now and then with Nitro clean or denatured alcohol. then lube everything with ARO.

yes that i know, didnt know if its somethin w/the fuel or its hogwash. but now i'm committed 2 a gallon of odonnell (no returns at lhs) and i'm hearin that the hyper8 doesn't place nice their fuel??

true?

someones been filling your head with BS. trinity and odonnel are my 2 favorite fuels. and most people will tell you that either would be a good choice. i have never had a rust or poor running issue with either. and ill admit, i rarely use ARO, this doesn't mean that you can get away with it. I'm just saying I've had really good luck with both fuels.
