Anyone tried one of these mills in a truggy yet? I just picked one up for my LSP to hold me over til I can order me a C5BB. I am going to try it with a JP-2 pipe, the reason on the JP-2 is because I am going to run the JP-2 on the C5BB and I don't want to have to but a JP-1 for the Hyper and end up with two pipes. I am not sure which fuel I am going to try this year, last year I ran White Lightning 30% and had decent luck with it. Even with my new sponsor (PLUG) NEW WORLD HOBBIES (click me for great deals) it is a big investment so I am hoping the Hyper will get me by for a little while. Any input would be great!

P.S. sorry bout the plug but this is the thing you do for a sponsorship--lol and he does have good deals-lol

its a good engine! pain to break in but once thats done its a screamer! i run it in my buggy matched to a 086 pipe and the thing flys:banana: its lacks a little on the low end so I'm not sure how it will be in a truggy however good spring and alum clutch shoes should compensate nicely! i personally had tuning problems with the stock carb so i put a os20e carb in it. seem to be hit or miss with the stock carb.

oh yeah i forgot to tell you i run 30%nitro 10% oil sidewinder race with a mccoy mc9 and these hypers love this set-up!!!these hyper engines do not run well/like high oil content fuel f.y.i.

and they like to run in the 250-270 degree range

I am still in the air about the fuel--leaning towards either O,Donnells or Trinity Monster HP Blend, what kind of springs--1.1's maybe?

1.1 springs should be fine! most fuels are pretty good anyways but your better of with 10-12%oil as i said before these engines dont like high oil content. and if you run 30% add 1 head shim.

your better off breaking it in with the percentage that your going to use in the long run
