Can anyone tell me if the piston & sleeve for the hyper .21 8 port race engine is the same as the regular hyper .21 8 port engine? :shrug:
 
Ofna tech support says that the 8 port and 8port race use the same piston and sleeve, but the race has a bigger rear bearing and other changes.
 
Thanks for the info. hudler. I just bought a used hyper 7 pro buggy and it had the .21 race engine in it. Is it a good compeditive engine or do I need to upgrade?
