Here are a few pic's for now..Ill post more latter this week..
This was Chris hobbs cow.I was hunting with him 100 yards away...As you can see it was just about dark when he shot it.1.2 miles from any road.We brought in 8 guys and drug the bitch out hole..With flash lights and lanterns...It was 10 pm when we got it to the road...Well over 400 pounds of dead weight W/guts out.

You can get a good Idea just how big it is.The pole its hanging on is 10 feet in the air..The guy skining it is 6'3...And the head is on the ground.

I am going down next week to BBQ then for him.

Here is a picture of the cut we were working...This was taken at the top of hole were we drop in...Pic was taken the the next day.The cow was shot way down at the bottom of this pic.

The temp.Did not get over 25 deg's all week up there..the lowest we had was 12 deg's...
The Elevation was any were from 3400 to 6800 feet....

The wood on this fire is just kindling LOL.
We built a fire on the first day.And never had to re light it.All week we burnt right around 3 cords of wood.

I saw one 3x and a huge 6x....But I could only shoot a spike only..My brother and hobbs had there cow tags...I will be putting in for my any tag for next year.And hope i get a cow tag.
The 6x antlers were huge..He was coming right at me about 30 yards away..He saw me bowed up flipped his head back...When he did that his antlers hit his ass....The base of them horns were about as big a round as a coffee cup...

I was in the US.Just right on the east side of Chinook pass...
There was bear sign all over one cut I was working...I should have brought in a dozen donuts and hung them in a tree:green-grin:
 
holy crap so a couple of dumb hawaiian questions...i guess its cold enough you dont need to put it on ice?no brainer huh, then how do you store it?coolers?bags? then last Who the hell and how far do you have to carry them big farkers...lol congrats on a nice catch
