Just wondering how to hook up a hump pack on my 4908 tmaxx.. Do I just cut the red/black wires that connect the battery holder and then splice in a male connector and good to go?

Will my on/off switch still work?
Where can I buy a hump pack/male connector locally?

Thanks!

There's a harness that's made for a hump pack. It has a pig tail connector that sticks outta the battery box for charging and an on/off switch that goes right in the stock location. Not sure of the part number, but it only costs about $5. Most lhs have them in stock.

I might look into that fo myself. I hate having to take battery box apart just to charge my tmaxx onboard batteries.

A rechargeable hump pack puts more juice in the system than the 4 aa's. Making for more powerful servos and overall radio system function. And there's no risk of a battery popping loose. A 5 cell hump pack and failsafe are must haves.

Will they fitt in my tmaxx 2.5 battery box?? Or do I install them on the bottom of th chasis. Also would I hook right ip to my reciever

this is an easy fix which i have done myself, what you need to buy are the hump pack and traxxas parts 4925x and traxxas part 3034, this will save you from cutting any wires and will keep everything sealed just like you do have just now hope it goes well
