Hey everyone.
I just put in a Hitec 5645 for a single steering servo on my 5309. It is supposed to have 172 oz/in torque vs the 160 on my dual 2055s, but the steering doesn't want to return to neutral position after turning. I have to steer it back to center for the most part. And the steering is okay, but it seems like the stock set-up was a little quicker.
I put in the HD servo saver with it. Is the 5645 too weak for a HD servo saver?
Thanks for any help.

i think it depends on the tires and the wheels you re running too...the servo's all have a lot of power when they are being powered to one side or the other - but once the servo is released back to nuetral they are not powered as much...the nuetral position command doen not employ the full pull of the servo power...just what i have found from like 25 years in R/C - my 5309 has the single servo setup from the PO - and with the smaller wheels and tires he put on it it steers fine and comes back to nuetral without any problem..but once i put a larger set of wheels and tires on it it steered ok but would not return like you said - i had to steer it back..so i'm putting a 2nd servo back in...so i can run my larger setup and with both servo's pulling back to nuetral it will do so without additional input...i just think it may be the nature of the beast....
