hpi are great i sent my savage 25 in because it had somthing wrong with the electrics think it was just a wire and the underhead needed replacing. i think they were both broke by me. and hpi done it for free.
 
Do you have a phone number for them I have been looking every were all I can find is # over seas..
 
have you still got the manual for the truck look at the warranty page and i think it has the phone number.

If you need immediate assistance, American and Canadian customers can contact our customer service department by phone at (949) 753-1099. This is a United States toll phone number. Our Techs are available on Mondays from 7:30 AM to 4:45 PM, and Tuesday through Friday between 7:30 to 5:15. These times are in Pacific Standard Time. Note that HPI USA has every other Friday and most United States federal holidays off.

i am also having trouble getting in touch with them. this sucks. i left a message adn they never returned it
 
I am going to try that number. I hope they can offer me exchange for all 5 burnt one way bearings from my Savage.
