you could get aluminum like me and wannawunem and jess g and rbmaxxbasher.. i dont think were gonna strip them.. but there expencive.. unless you find a hella deal like we did..

I have a set of alu maximizer beadlocks
they bend....

No they are not better, I bought a brand new set of HPI wheels for the HPI Challenge, only because I had to to run in the challenge, well within 7-8 tanks of fuel they are already stripped. And HPI's customer service sucks! I emailed them about the problem but no one from HPI ever bothered to even respond to me. I will NEVER buy another set of HPI rims, the plastic they use is crap! I have been running pro-line rims for well over a year with no problems at all.

My original HPI rims have almost 6 gallons on them and they are still perfect. If you keep the nuts snug they should be ok.

i got dynamite ones and they seem thick its gonna take a good beating to bend um.. and the hexes fit REALLY snug.. i used new hexes and i had to tap them in with a hammer.. :hammer: plus they look SHWWEETT!!

I ran HPI rims on my savage for a year, the whole time I had them basically and never even got close to stripping a rim.

I'm not chacing it. I will use my alu beadlocks until i have the money for 4 x-75's, 8 tires, 2 sets of rage rings, and 2 sets of foams. I have to get tires for the truggy and savage. I'm broke right now.

Any pictures of your Al. beadlocks?? I may have a deal for ya... PM me..

I have had my Savage for a year. Haven't stripped em yet. I try to check the bolts every 3 or 4 tanks. Hope I don't strip em, that gets a little expensive.

I have my stockies on too, and havent had any probs. i just noticed a slit in one of my sidewalls, but, the rims and hexes still look like new. I probably got about 10 tanks down though so far, if that..

same with me. had my stockers for over 4 gallons and no stripping. i think its more the stock hex's that lead to the stripping. i replaced my stock hexs with the clamp on ones and no stripping.

hmmm, mine were starting to strip and now there is no turning back. I jump mine a lot so maybe the sudden traction when landing does it. Savages were meant to fly!!! I will be changing over the mashers soon. I also have clamp ons.

I jumped, back flipe, rolled, did anything I could to the thing and I broke one upright and never striped a wheel the whole time I had it.

I use the HPI Q6 wheels and I must say that these are quite durable. I haven't stripped one of them yet...
