HPI tires

My buddy and I just ordered some HPI nitro Drift cars, I was wondering if anyone has experiance with this car and how long the stock tires last? should I buy a different type of drift tires after these wear out or buy the same hard compound? any thoughts?:\

Probably found out your answer from experience by now, but the average life of the average used tire lol is eehhhhhh around 1 month i'd say.(drift compound)

The rougher the roads and parking lots surface will determine how long your tires will last. The smoother the area you play in the longer the tires will last.

When drifting first became popular about 10 years ago I remember people mounting PVC Pipe on their onroad car or rally car rim's to drift. It was interesting to watch and they learned how to drive them with rubber tires on the front and PVC pipe mounted on the rear rims. You might be able to find some youtube videos on how to make your own.
