hpi t3.0 wont start

I just bought a hpi evo rs4. I has the t3.0 engine in it. I broke it in and it ran great for like five tanks. Now it wont even start. My buddy said i might have bent the conecting rod cuz i was flooding it trying to start it. I tore the engine down and everything looks fine. I dont know alot about the car so should i just take it in and have someone who knows what there doing fix it

I bet your tune is off.. mine was a son of a gun to start at times. I went to pull start and printed off the tuning tip page and made sure I had a couple plugs sitting by.. also make sure you have no air leaks cause that will mess up your day!! look at the fuel tube that goes from the tank to the carb, where it goes right buy the gear you might have worn a hole in it, I got new line and ran it alittle different and it runs mint now.... good luck fun little car!!

Did you ever replace the glowplug after breakin? When breaking in you run it extremely rich to keep the temps down. Running it so rich will cause you to foul out the glowplug. Start cheap and easy vs a complete teardown. I speak from experience as I went thru the same type of issue with my first truck and it was a hell of a learning experience.

with the rs4 I encounterd a couple crappy points that dont excist on some of the other setups... that fuel line that goes to the carb is probly the problem I just had to replace mine again cause I didnt pay close enough attention to it and the clutch bell rips right through it like its nothing..
