RC Driving Style
I have a savage xl and just ordered a new set of hpi goliath tires on tremor wheels, my question is should i change the gearing? it has the stock terra--pin tires on now, and if so what do you guys recomend? I have a stock f4.6 engine now, going to a LRP .30 in a couple of months. The 5.9 it came with went out so i have a new stock .28. THANKS FOR THE HELP!!
 
i dunno......i use stock gearing on both my goliath equiped xl trucks with no orries. one has a lrp 32 and the other has a novarossi 28, though, neither is completely broken in

if your running a 46, i would probably drop a gear.
 
thanks, i may do that. i have a spur gear thats one tooth smaller than stock, do u think that will be enough?
