I have the HPI savage 4.6 and it was running fine and now I can't seems to get it tuned and running. I can't seem to keep it idling. then when I finally get it idling its like its running to lean and it cuts out when I accelerate. I tried going back to factory settings. I am completely clueless on what the issue is. any ideas?

Glow plugs have a lot to do with how it runs, if your sure your tunning skills are good check the plug and for air leaks before you drive your self nuts looking for a bigger problem.

I noticed when I reinstalled my engine after cleaning I did not put the rubber seal on the exhaust coming from the the engine into the manifold could that be the issues. I have it running now it idles good but is bogging not matter what i do when I first go to accelerate and then when i let off the throttle or brake I can run up to full speed like normal. Seems like it maybe getting some air in through that part maybe why I can't seem to get a perfect tune now?

That's a good place to start, also if the seal is not in the eng you won't get good back pressure to the tank.

Seems like that fixed that issue put a new one on did a little bit of tuning she purrs like a kitten now
