i have a friend that has a HPi Savage SS with a .21 in it and he is woundering what the bigest motor that he can get for it is with out or with very little moding to be done to the truck any ideas that you can give me will help alot.

You can put nearly any .30 or .32 in there. 99.9% of all .28s are no problem at all. the 5.9 is a .36 I think. it is a drop in as well. However I would recommend the LRP .28 or Picco .28 P3. Wakes the Savy up nicely.
