HPI Savage Kit version....

I was at a reputable LHS today, and I was talking with the owner about the new trucks coming out. He was telling me that after much consideration, HPI will be putting out a KIT version of the Savage sometime next month. He claims to have 2 on backorder already. Can anyone verify this? I guess a phone call to HPI would clear things up...

I wish it also came without an engine though, that way you could really set it up the way you wanted. Its still very cool that HP released a kit Savage.

lol there are 3 posts about this. It is different then some kits that is comes with an engine but its not really for racing.

Yeah that is funny, but you were on it first Mayhem! :thumbup: I had even been on HPIs site and saw nothing about it, came here and you had it covered.

I still would prefer to choose my own engine over the one included, even though its not meant for racing.

Well, that SUCKS! Not the kit but now it comes out after we have bought the RTR and got the crappy .21BB engine, plastic pipe, and other stuff that is our "option" to install.
