hey just bought a 4.6 engine and a whole clutch setup. when i am trying to put the clutch on i have a problem. first i locked down the piston with the tool then i installed the collett on the shaft then put on the flywheel then installed the nut after i tighten the nut i grap the flywheel and its tight then it loose. my question is there is not supposed to be a washer between the bearing and the collet corect. why am i having this problem . can it be shimed, anyone else had this problem
thanks tom

shim it.... you dont want the bell flopping out of round. strip is for sure to happen..

you can put shims behind the collet if needed. i bet that would help your problem

anyone had this problem yet

wow am i stupid if you follow the directions it tells you you put the nut on with the beveled part down which i did and the instructions where a misprint
it shoul have been bevel up
