I am having issues with my engine and gearbox. I have the standard 2 speed box and I have a T3.0. When I mount the engine it doesn’t bolt in straight. If I bolt the engine first then the gearbox the gears jam.

It looks like some of the gears are chewed up. If not, I would loosen the engine mount a bit, to see if the gears will mesh properly, i will let it roll to see if it will roll smoothly, then slowly tighten them in a cross pattern.

Also, you may also want to seat your engine back a bit as well.

I dont know what engine mount you have ,if it is a fixed one or not ,but if the engine mounts are slotted ,then that is where you
can slide the engine back a little ,if not ,then try finding the slotted engine mounts on line ,I have the Ofna slotted engine mounts
that I can slide the engine back & fourth!

They look like this ,they also make different compact sizes!

Another option is use a drill bit slightly bigger than the holes on the plate, that will give you a bit of wiggle room, but don't forget to use thread lock.

Thanks for the reply. The gears on engine side are fixed to the clutch bell. I have finally located issue. The gearbox was supplied with the wrong size gearing. I have ordered the correct gears. I will check the set up on the engine sit does seem to sit a bit forward. I have a washer and the collar but the flywheel doesn’t sit flush
