The mods need to work a little harder there, seems all they do is talk amongst themselves in all the threads
I was truly disappointed, it just seems to have a very immature member base.
The site navagation also sucks

yes it is.., actually the only thing that i know that i have to buy is the slide carb linkage from hpi. but i am not sure if the flywheel and motors mounts will work. if you now something i really apreciate.
I am only worry about tha size of the .15 engines, because i want to be sure that my starter box work with the engine without changing the flywheel and the motor mounts.
thanks.

If your switching from the type r 12 to a non pullstart engine then you will want to change to the lo profile motor mounts and the lighter flywheel for performance reasons the motor mounts will lower your C.O.G. and the flywheel will let it rev faster but the stock ones will work.

I have switched out two engines for my SS, a 15 OS and now a RB concepts C12. I would strip gears when I gear high (39/41, 37/41 spur gears) when I used the lower mounts and flywheel. If you're using the stock gears, 47/43, you should be fine with the lower mounts. However, if you're going to gear high I suggest using the stock mounts and flywheel.

I am trying a new setup where I'm taking out the lower mount on the tranny case. This should bring my spur gears down 2 or 3 mm. I should be able to use the lower mounts and smaller flywheel. But I just setup the car, I didn't run it yet. I'll let you guys know if it works.
