HPI rs4 rtr evo+ shifting issues

I have had my rs4 for a few weeks now. I have run prob. close to a gallon of fuel through it and everytime i run it it doesn't sound like it is shifting into second. The thing is fast. I can out run my friends CEN .15 all day long, but i don't hear mine shift into second. Anyone have any insight for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Dont worry, its shifting.
Your not gonna hear it.
Drive the car on the street and give it throttle slowly until you hear it grab 2nd.
I thought the same thing on my RS4 3 EVO+.
I got a O.S. .18 CV-R and it just climbs so fast you can't hear the shift.

Try out what i told you and let me know if thats the problem.
If its still not shifting i'll teach you how to adjust it.

hey thanks for the help. i took it out today and slowy applied gas and i hear it shift. it is really smooth. not much rmp change like i am used to hearing. thanks again for the help!!
