Hey guys,

Sorry for posting these but I guess i'm a little proud since this is the first time I have run this truck in over five months It has undergone a major transformation here is a full list of Hop ups.
Powerline front & Rear Shock towers
Powerline Threaded adjustable shocks
Powerline upper radio tray
Mossdog bumpers front and rear
HPI lightweight flywheel
HPI racer clutch
Powerline Masher 2k's
Lunsford Titanium Turnbuckles
RPM Heavy Duty Ball Cups
Fantom FR15 racing engine
RD Logics Hump Pack

All in all it's a pretty solid truck now. I just need to get some titanium ball studs and I will be set.

It's okay to blow your own horn every once in a while.

That truck looks great!

I think I'd put the zipties on the cooling head so the nubs were on the outside. Pavement could still reach the edge of your cooling head with the ties like you have 'em.

So how did it perform? Or did you just get through the break-in?

Thanks man I have had this thing sitting in my closet for some time now. Newayz it performed really well even with the mashers on it it seemed a lot quicker than it did with the FE. I am running a 13/52 combo. I think some day when I am rich I am going to get the 2 speed for it and some on road tires and see how it really does. LMAO at being a newbie when it comes to zip ties on the cooling head thanks for the info I'll change them around. Thanks for the compliments again later

looks awsome newnitrofan!!!!!! I'm thinkin about rebiuldin my nitro mt, good job

Thanks MTMAN. I use the term rebuild loosely. Honestly I just got the truck in like June and well I seriously liked it but wasn't totally happy with it. I do have to say that I am totally stoked with it now. Even though I was only able to get about 5 minutes run time on it yesterday. I had a Ball stud break on me. I am going to be replacing with TI ball studs from Losi. They should work nicely. I just have to get the one that broke out of the shock tower. Man it's gonna be a pain. Later

hey i got a puestion how much did u spend on all those aftermarket parts?

Truck is great man, looks sweet and shiny, lol BLING BLING! hahaha. Why do people put wraps around their head though?? Did the clutch and flywheel make that big of diffrence?

mtman-this is a question of how much I could totally list this but I'll give you a ballpark figure. I believe I paid in the neighborhood of $500.00 after the purchase of the actual truck. Yeah it's not cheep to do it but well I did it.

Wasteland I am not sure if the flywheel and clutch made a difference or not as the last time I ran the truck it was bone stock. The original engine was only .7 horsepower with a single needle carb. The new one I believe has 1.5 with a two needle carb that also has a wider mouth on it it has a 6 mm opening. Quite a bit of difference just right there. I love the way it performs now. Can't wait to get a two speed and some on road tires.

Ok so I got all the parts today to fix that ball stud that busted off in my shock tower. I should be A ok now. Hopefully. I plan to do a bunch of christmas bashing. Later all and Merry Christmas

Hey I have a horrible suspicion I know what is wrong here but whenever I turn right my truck seems to be clicking. It seemed to mostly come from the front and seemed to be the front diff. I am concerned it is. I am not too trouble as I have all of the diff gears in stock. I should also mention that something on the back drive coupling came loose so I only had front wheel drive for a little while before I realized it. HELP

[i like the paintjob on that body, I'm lookin to put a new one on my xxx nt i was thinkin somethin along the lines of a RSX or something... how about this body on a stadium truck?!?

Ummmm Sure I guess you could do that, but that body is totally not cut out for the stadium truck shocks at all. Well the rear end at least. If you are planning to pick up a standard 200MM touring car body than you should really think about the gaps that it is going to leave. Newayz later.

I like those bumpers, where can they be found? I don't like that alum one I see all over.

We've got 2 NMTs, one is going all aluminum/titanium, a slipper clutch (and perhaps 2-speed) with a Sirio .12 and the other mostly stock except graphite tray & brace and slipper clutch with a Picco P-15RR rear exhaust (real fast motor). I've been experimenting with different parts from different models off of OFNA, AE and such and so far I have a NTC3 rear exhaust manifold, OFNA MBX threaded shocks, 1/8 buggy throttle linkage for slide carbs and so forth. I might even put on the OFNA wing stay for kicks.

Say, what kind of tires are those? I've been looking for bigger tires and wonder if CEN MT2 tires fit on the rims. I still can't seem to find a 125cc fuel tank that will adequetly fit in, I have an extra OFNA MBX tank wich would barely fit in but I'd have to shave off the center brace part.

Once the trucks are completed I'm going to post pics of them. :) :naughty:

I'm also working on an OFNA HODR Truggy conversion.

Thanks for the comment on the aluminum preciate it. You might The point of the aluminum at this point is to strengthen the already week stock Nitro MT chassis. It is weak and the powerline upper radio tray does a great job of strengthening. As well as for the rest of the Aluminum. The point of all of the aluminum was just to strengthen some weak points of the NMT. The NMT 2 is a much improved vehicle over the original. Good luck.
