I've heard there is a motor mount that will mount an HPI motor on a TMaxx. Does anyone have any info on such a thing?

i've heard of the hpi 25 put into a maxx but also heard that the motor itself is poo
not sure on the mount but you may need the big block cassis to make it all fit

There used to be several companies that made big block conversions for the t-maxx. Now a days it's hard to find stuff.

This is one at an affordable price - comes with everything you need to convert to BB. These were made by a company that no longer exists, AcncM, how this guy has so many in stock I am not sure. I am under the impression he snagged a full AcncM kit and is having them remade. I contacted him once asking if these were made by the same company and he said yes they were AcncM kits and that he had plenty of stock. Since I have seen over 80 kits sale.

Fastlane machine is slowly letting there T-maxx parts fade out - you can find there stuff on ebay and a few stores aswell. The chassis's though don't accept a true big block, although you can drop a picco .26 maxx or JL Reddot in there.

These are about the only two I know that are left and good quality....

I have had good luck with all the HPI engines I have run. My 4.6 savage X is a geat truck with a great engine. Never have run a 5.9 though. If your building a Big Block Tmaxx I would go with a Mach engine I would love to try the Big Red .28. Actually thinking of building a big block rrevo and using that engine, would like to here input of the engine if anyone has run one before.

If your gonna do a bb conversion dont waste your time on a stock motor from another truck
I put a force .28 in my maxx bb best engine I've ever owned and it only cost like 130 from my lhs and its a rocket and hold a tune for ever

While that work in any model tmaxx

I was just looking at the mach big red because it has a good price at $150.00, and yes the picco engines are great I run several picco's now. Just was building a budget big block beater revo.

Keep in mind that there is no such thing as building a budget big block beater, big block builds are usually anything but cheap.

Yah I know I have Two big block tmaxx trucks have around $1800 in each of them. Just never built a big block revo yet. When my Savage project is finished prob start on a Revo.
