hey, my wife and kids just ordered me a new hpi firestorm for christmas, i have a hpi savage 4.6 and a savage 2.5. just wondering what you guys think of the hpi firestorm? kdogg:D

I'm nto a fan of HPI products but from what I have heard its a decent truck but a bit underpowered.

I love my firstorm, Excellent relability, I have put about 5-6 letres through mine and the only problem I had was when I went full throotle into my mates wheelchair and the right front A Arm broke.
Just make sure you seal the engine first and put on a fuel filter, you will probably want to change the position of the fuel line before you do anything, they put it between the airfilter and engine cooling head, mistake waiting to happen if you ask me.

If I were in the stadium truck market I would give the Firestorm a look-see. Nothing wrong with HPI--I have run a Nitro MT and currently have an MT2!

i'm glad they ordered me a firestorm. i have 2 hpi savages, a 4.6 and a 2.5 and a rtr3evo hpi corvette. i gotta say that i've had great service with all my hpi r/c's, but how much harder will the firestorm be to drive? i've read that it takes a little experience, is that true? kdogg

It is more difficult than a 4wd especially on low traction surfaces, however you will get the hang of it really quick.
