i know there is probably a lot of threads about this and i am sorry i am asking it again. but i am looking to move up to nitro. i have had many electric cars and just kinda getting tired of them. i want a stadium truck and was looking at the firestorm. this will be my first nitro car to. i was wondering how hard tuning is on them? i live in indiana and the weather can change a lot so not sure if that will affect the tune. also i would like the 2 wheel drive. what do you think the cost would be before i can get it completely ready to go and mess around. and what is the normal break-in time for these before i can go all out with it? i am going to keep doing some research on here and see if i like it or not.

thx for the help LS1-NAVY

i read over this thread and it helped a little bit https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60832

What do you plan on doing with your truck? Racing or bashing? From what I hear, the Firestorm is a pretty good truck though.

i was about to buy the firestorm a week ago but then i seen the team associated GT2 and thats what i bought. from what i heard the GT2 is better for racing but less durable and the firestorm is more durable but less raceable (if thats a word) but the main reason why i bought the gt2 is because my local hobbie shop doesn't suppply hpi firestorm parts so whatever u buy give ur hobbie shop a call first. hope that helps but i dought it lol.
