i bought it! it's my first buggy! Brought to revrace and kept crashing because it my first time doing RC. So it held up pretty well until 3rd day in the track, the rear a-beams keep popping out, because the toe plate is plastic. I just ordered the rear metal toe plate like the d8/ve8/hara has! Oh, broke a steering servo too, given I'm a newbie so it would prolly last longer if you knew how to drive. Other than that the looks is awesome, just needed some upgrades!

I decided to get it to. And swapped for Hara parts to. I swapped the steering servo to the throttle and got a hitec steering sevo. I've raced for 20 plus yrs and I got to say out side of losi's 8ight 2.0 rtr this is the next best.:D:D:first_place::first_place:

CooL man! I can't wait for my parts to come through tomorow! I want to drive so bad!
 
Any others with info on this rig? My friend bought it, and we're not happy with the engine performance. He has also bent the center rear drive shaft twice in 2 runs. The engine is bulk of the problem though. Not having enough power to clear stuff puts your buggy in a bad situation. Back to the engine... It's real stable, idles for hours at a time, but just seems to lack any punch whatsoever. Power wise compared to my Losi 350 engine it doesn't seem close.

Would like to hear others opinions that have this car.
 
I must admit Nitro star engines are very under powered. When I got mine I swapped my O.S. on it. With the OS I found it was slightly under geared so I bumped the clutch bell up a tooth. And after playing with the shocks a little I was taking triples w great attitude. It's a great platform to make a great racer with a few tweaks.
