Ok so I'm kind of new to being able to tune. I got it idling right and it's not to rich or not to lean. But hpi says the 4.6 motor should only run at about 125 but mine runs at 220. Is that ok or should I change something. If I have to change something what do I need to do. I'm not that great at tuning yet..

No Nitro engine should be running at 125F, 220F is sweet.
are you Sure HPI temp isnt in "C"

Forrest, you are way more concerned with temp than you need to be. Unless your engine is overheating, you don't have to worry about it. You need good air flow through the cooling fins of the head on the engine. You might have to cut a hole in the windshield to allow flow through the body. When adjusting the high speed needle, you keep increasing the fuel until the engine starts to load up or bog a little and then back it off about 1/4 turn and leave it there. (The flow of fuel is also the cooling for the engine.) You will have to do this as the weather changes because the air temperature and density changes will affect the tune. I do have a temp gun because I thought I needed it. I haven't used it on nitro engines in a long time just because for me, it's unnecessary.
