hello, i have a major issue. The purple gears that connect to the engine are messed up. This issue just started. The smaller purple gear keeps unscrewing off the gear bell, and it does it every time i hit the gas for more than 5 seconds. I at first thought it might be because i put it on backwords, so i tried that and it still did it. Then i took apart the WHOLE 2 speed tranny, and put it back together, and it still does it. Please help, am racing soon and need to get it fixed, thanks

Hmmmm....I'm stumped. The gears on my 2-speed are right hand threaded (the normal way) so that when the engine is running in it's counter clockwise direction, the torque actually tightens the gears. What HPI is this on?

This is odd, as Candyman said the torque of the engine should be tightening the gears. Are you running the motor counter-clockwise?

I have never had a problem with mine.. That is very odd, Also i did put blue locktight on the clutchbell threads. But then again the TQ of the engine should tighten the pinions.
