How to tune your controller???

Ok i have a tmaxx 2.5 with the traxxas Tq3 remote... so at the top what does the NEUTRAL 70/30 and 50/50 do when i change them the 50/50 its in middle and 70/30 is farther up(THE TRIGGER)

So what does this affect ??the amount of top speed you can get?? more throttle and less break??

That means you will have either 70% throttle pull and 30% brake throw or 50% throttle throw 50% brake throw. It doesn't effect overall top speed but it DOES effect overall brake input. As for MY settings on my Traxxas vehicles? Neutral.

The manual says to leave it at 50/50, and I'd recommend doing so. Your brake is just going to be on/off if you put it on 70/30.

With the truck NOT NOT NOT running. Throw the switch. You will see what it does.

You need to readjust all the linkages if you wanna switch it.

oh ok because i did it without it on but it just moved the trigger up for more throtle and less brake

Which is what I said it would do. I don't know why Traxxas even bothers with that gimmick but I guess someone out there likes less brakes...

it is helpful with electric rigs since you get more throttle throw and a longer power curve. you get 30% brakes which helps it not to lock up.

I need my brakes way too much on the ol' Slash to go messin' with things!
