How to Make a Revo Wheelie

Hi, I want to make my stock revo wheelie but i dont want to buy a new engine. I was thinking of changeing the gearing but i dont know what gearing combo to use. Which do you suggest? Thanks

Low gearing would get you lots of torque, letting you pull the front up, but you would also lose top end speed

all you need is good traction and a good tune ....my stock Revo will do wheelies with no problem ....will even do wheelies in reverse sometimes

I'm not a revo guy but I've seen plenty of 3.3 tmaxx's and even 2.5s with a good tune that will ride willies no problem so I second this.

All about the tune, especialy with a 3.3 you should have no trouble flipping over.

Like they said, if your engine is in good condition it should be no problem. Even with lower gearing it might not wheelie with a bad tune or other problems.

their right a good tune and a well broke in engine and it will flip over with no problems.

I am very new at this whole rc thing and i had mine doing wheelies within about the 2nd gallon of fuel... just playing with the tune ... but make sure its not too lean... you want blue smoke... and it seems more responsive once its warmed up. just from a dead stop , hit the throttle and it will literaly flip itself over. i got a roll cage on mine so the wheelie bar wont fit now.

My 3.3 revo will wheelie easy I actually started running a 15 tooth clutch bell and a 40 tooth spur to loose a little of the top end because I didn't need all that much top end and now mine will easily wheelie. Try that gear combo I think you will be happy. It will still do 40+ but it will have a lot more bottom end also make sure you got a good tune and your clutch shoes are in good shape that will prevent it from wheeling if your clutch shoes are wore out.
