Hi guys, I have a savage limited edition and I purchased the XL chassis conversion kit. Can anyone give me some guidance on how to do the install?
Thanks

Thanks.
It was pretty easy. The engine plate was a bitch but it's all done.
I have to align the motor better tho because I can hear like a chain dragging on the ground when driving it. I'm guessing it's too lose?

pretty simple, really .. take off rollcage and 2 tranny screws on bottom of motor plate, remove one plate, remove screws from rear suspension on other side.
remove and replace dogbone and plate, and screw it down loosly
flop truck over and remove and replace other plate, switch fuel tank brakets ant throttle arm bracket, and exhaust

tighten up all the screws and bash away. no need to even remove motorplate

if it was just an X, its even easier cause you can remove a plate, replace and tighten the screws all at one time then do the other side.
if you dont mess with the motormount plate, you shouldnt have to re-adjust the bellclutch/spurgear mesh

Thanks. I ended up removing the motor and engine plate but it's all working well now.
