How to break-in a revo 3.3?

What is the proper way to breaking-in the engine? Ill be getting one soon and I've heard you need to brake it in.

Read the manual and watch the DVD that comes with it. Also there is a dummy tab on the gas tank. As long as you do as they say you will have no problem breaking in and maintaining your truck.

Go check the main page of rcnitrotalk and you will see a forum on power plants. There is a engine breakin method listed there. I used it to break in my new engine and it works great. Also do alot of searching in these forums, lots of info that you will need to keep your baby running and the guys here are great about answering questions. Welcome to the club Bro!:breakdown

i would go ahead and do a search on the ''heat cycle method'' , a very trusted way to break in an engine, make sure of one thing TAKE YOUR TIME, it will be very worth it in the futur.we all get trigger happy sometimes but its not worth it for t heprices these trucks are. hope this helps abit.

Watch the DVD that it came with if its brand new. Its a great tried and true method.

have fun man and welcome to nitro .also when they say to let the engine cool make sure you do it is a very important part of the break in.

Also, of MAJOR importance is that you let it cool with the piston at the bottom of its' stroke, NOT anywhere up in the cylinder.
