How often should i take the diff apart to grease check for wear ect.

Its hard to establish a dead set timeline. However, if you keep 3 wheels on the ground and lift up one and try to turn in, there should not be much play forward or backward. If it is grinding or will rotate more than a 1/4 turn in either direction, then I would take it apart and look at it, regrease it (after it has been thoroughly cleaned).

It will all depend on how often and how hard you drive it. Along with the conditions you drive it in.

the amount of power you put threw them makes a difference also...lasted a 2 gallons jsut fine between the trx 2.5 and os .21 rg, jsut 3 tanks before rebuild with the 24.7

the maxx seemed alright but the one in mu Ultima ST seemed like i needed to take it apart i so i didthe grease looked like it has been worn in good so i went to the lhs and got some greaes now i just gotta put it back together. Oh it needed a new bearing too one had some dirt in it and it was grinding
