Should it be after every run? On rims and tires so far I have had to retighten onto hub at the end of each session. Is that normal?

as for the fuel filter not really sure... maybe every few tanks with like denatures alcohol and put some loc tite on the threads before you put the wheel nut on just a drop and make sure it is BLUE!!

thnx, I will have to buy some I cleaned mine after 2 tanks even though it wasn't dirty, if I dont use that lock tight will I have a leak? I didn't use it when I installed it and no prob

I would be leary to put loctite on the threads of the fuel filter. It would take quite a bit of twisting force to get that to loosen up. There is normally an Oring that seals it tight when you screw it down. Inspect that O ring and see if there are any cracks. If it is I would replace it. Harbor frieght has some packages of generic ones for under 8 bucks.

I think Scooby is suggesting blue loctite for the wheel hubs, but I could be wrong. I wouldn't suggest puttng loctite on the fuel filter threads as well. If a piece of it works its way into the fuel line or filter itself, it could clog it.

I would also add, when you clean your air filter clean your fuel filter. There isno need to clean your fuel every 2 tanks.

confusion. . .

what i should have said is: clean the fuel filter every few tanks with DA or fuel and then for your wheel problem put some lock tight on there
i wasn't suggesting putting it on the filter though it did sound like it sorry for any confusion!

I'm a dummy I forgot I mentioned that as well, I will try that on the hubs. Thanks guys
