I just noticed I have about a 1/2 to 3/4 inch of play in my steering, I made sure everything is tight..is this normal?

NO it's not good...what servo/saver you have...is the play in the servo or the saver? if it's in the saver your good..just buy a Kimbrough saver and you'll be done for 5 bucks...if it's the servo don't replace it w/ a stock one...get the 645mg...35 bucks and it will do you justice....if you want bulletproof stering expect to pay 150 for new servo w/ unreal torque and a nice steering kit....

I have about 1/8" of play... barely any... I think it is my linkage.. i will fix it before i drive...

Mine has some slop in it also cheap Traxxas servo saver anyway, I was actully going to ask soon what one I should look for so thanks before I even asked Plaid lmao!

jesse I didn't get to the UPS store yet...sorry....I didn't know you had sent the pay....I'll see if I have a kimbrough saver still...I'll throw it in...

WHat have you been doing!!!! LMAO :jk: that would be really cool I would appreciate it I bought a new Traxxas one and it did the same thing the old one does it kind of wobbles on the servo and I know its not the servo either what a pos hehe.

Breakin More RC poop...LOL
I saw him take a whole buggy apart and put in back together again and set everything up at the track in about 2 hours last monday night in the dark under a tiny maglight, so all other duties of life should have only taken him about 20 minutes...I don't know what he's been doing with the rest of the time

LMAO poor Plaid and all of his breaks with his Rc's I know the feeling. I can almost do the same with my T-Maxx, I have had lots of practice taking it apart and putting it back together

yep.. sure did..
Thats cool glad to here you have it fixed for now that is lmao. I have a couple more things to do, but should have it going here soon, I bought some aluminum bulks and skidplates from Plaid and can't wait to go do some bashing lol.

I can take mine apart in about 30 minutes, loose 1 screw and spend 2 hours looking for it, put it back together in 8 hours and cross thread the 1 last screw, then have to take it all the way apart again to go to the lhs for what I just screwed up. Me and the t-maxx have a love/hate relationship, and I find that if I call her (yes it's a female) petunia and talk dirty to her, the parts almost jump into place lol

LMAO I call my the DemonMaxx becasue I believe it is cursed and will adventually kill me hehe.I hate when you loose that one screw and can't find another one that is the right lenth/thread type lmao. Thats why I bought an entire screw kit and replaced just about every single one and now have some extras :).
