I am trading some car parts (about 280 worth) and I posted I was open to trade for some nitro MT's and I got the following offer, never having ran a Sirio .18 I am not sure how good of an engine it is..

This is what he is offering:

tmaxx
jr xr2 radio
aluminum bulkheads front and rear
aluminum center skid plate
robinson racing clutch bell and spur gear
sirio .18 motor 8 port
aluminum rear bumper
sirio tuned pipe
traxxas big bore shocks with trinity springs
few other aluminum parts

Sounds like a fair trade, T-maxx aluminum upgrades are exspensive, as far as the engine I dont know much about them but I'm sure its way better than the stock Traxxas motor.

Ask about the diffs and drive train. What type of driving did he do? What maintenance. For the price you are buying it, you can get a new one for 1oo more.

Thanks guys, I guess I was wondering if the engine was a good one. I know the alum. stuff is kind of expensive but no biggie really. I have not been around the RC scene in a while and trying to jump back in now that I have some room to work on them.

If it is pretty close to the same as a stock maxx you are right for 100 bucks more I can take the cash and get a new one in the box if the other stuff it not that great.

what are you trading him??? that might make it easier for us to guage the trade.....if it's old stuff you no longer use or need then hell yeah it sounds like a good trade....but not being able to check the compression on the engine you're still taking a crap shoot

Since the engine is never ran, i would think it would have compression still. I think the Sirio .18 is one hot engine. Imo, it is better than stock by quite a bit.

The Sirio .18 has been ran for a while I am waiting to hear back on how much has gone through it.

I am selling some brand new in box springs for a Scion XB which I paid about $120 for and some XB fog lights which I paid about $130 for. Shipping is about $30 on the springs so if I go through with it we would probably each just cover shipping.

I also got an offer for a HPI RS4 nitro MT truck also but I am more interested in either a maxx or a savage.
