Guys..as much fun as I have with my Revo it went up for sale to fund the fuel system for my TT LS6 mustang . I put it up on a couple of local forums here in Houston and on craigslist. I think what I am asking for the truck is fair considering the brand new OS .21 on it. But I keep getting low balled....check it out here

For everything I have going with it is $400 too much? I am close to just keeping it and just keep saving because I refuse to just give it away....I actually had a guy on craigslist try and tell me that what I had wasn't worth $100 but he would give me $150 for it because he was nice.:\... GTFO...I was born at night but not last night

that is the sad part on this hobby. they just dont keep there value. when i sell a rig, i normally expect about half of what is is worth new. there are special occasions though, like yours with the new engine, or if the rig was only a few months old.

@ $400 I am still not making my money back out of it...and trust me I know all about having hobbies that you can't get your money back out of. The Twin Turbo LS6 89 Mustang I mentioned in my first post I have had since I was 16 and now almost 29 it has had several expensive motors and transmissions...the most resent the LS6 build has been a real spank on the A$$..the turbo kit alone ran me $4500. The Kelly Blue Book on the car isnt worth $4,500 since the odometer has rolled over 99,999. I think I should just quit all together and take up whittling...at least then I can just resource from the backyard....lol

Thats an experienced buying rule of thumb right there. Expect half of what you have into it as your starting point. Especially with a nitro rig.

Update

Well it sold on Saturday for my asking price. I am glad that somebody who knew what they were getting bought it. As a matter of fact he kept asking me what was wrong with it because he thought it was too cheap....lol. Now after I finish my Mustang I think I am just going to get me a E-Revo...no gas..no tuning...just plug in and haul A$$....

That looks like a pretty good deal to me, the OS nitro engine alone is worth $300.00 brand-new. I say your practically giving this rig away for that price.Did you try posting it on Ebay?:)
