I have 2 maxx's and I want to sell one.
It is a spotmaxx 2.5 rtr with
RPM skid Plates
Head protector
Bulkhead braces
an MIP Tuned Pipe
4 Trinity black extra-firm springs
Two Speed tranny
4-wheel drive mod.
Everything is stock. It runs well The chassie is fairly scratched but it is only cosmetic.
I have all the stock things like the old pipe and springs etc.
It has been taken very well care of.The engine has 5 gall of fuel but still has great pinch and commpresion.
Plus I have the DVD,Manuel,Parts list and the box.

--------------------EDIT-------------------

This is not a for sale thread, he is trying to see what it is worth. Please take any offers to pms or wait until he lists it. Thank you.

i dont think you would realalisticly get more than $250 for it

I would say that's a bit underpriced. Anybody who wants but doesn't buy that is missing the boat

Its hard to sell anything on this board.

I had a verry Hopped up Maxx. Sirio .18 all HRC Titanium parts. Alum. bulks, etc.
I started it out at $500 well worth it. You add it up and there was more then $1200+ in parts. I think the lowest I went was 300 and still no sell. I ended up trading it for a micro rs4.

i find it very dificult to sell things at a fair price. I'm still tryin to get rid of some car audio equipment I've had for a few years. I bought it all new, cost me around 2 grand. I can't even get $400 for it now. I took some pics for my wife to take to work. Hopefully some kid will pick this stuff up for $250. it comes to a point where you just want it out of the house. it's a shame that we put so much hard earned dollars into the things we enjoy then have to practically give it away when we no longer need it simply cuz it's second hand

I hope you get a decent $ out of your truck Tarant. I think $350 if pretty high for having 5 gallons of fuel through it. I think the next user will be buying a new engine after the next gallon or two. you figure what a new T-maxx costs (which is basically what you have with your hop ups). consider engine life is 70% used, you have a little money in it but not a huge amount. If I we're in the market I would probably consider it buying it at $300 with everything that I need to run it 5 minutes after I open the box, so batteries, radio, charger, you know... the basic stuff. Also, the MT market is changing a lot lately too. Revo is extremely popular and used ones are starting to circulate, also the big competitor is releasing a revamped version of the Savage which will weaken you're bargaining ability as well. A lot of people always want the new toys (myself included) but sometimes it's hard to find the buyer who is on strict budget and can stick to what they need vs. what the want

Well said lessen.
It is very hard to get even half of what you have into your rides even if you have xxxx amount of dollars in to them. I no it sucks..thats why from now on ill keep all of mine. So in 10 years from now ill probley have 20 or more nitros.
That ok though some thing to pass on to the grand childern when I have them.

I 2nd That..Now that I have this All Alum maxx. I plan to keep it. UNLESS I can get a 1/8th scale buggy on trade.

My LHS lets you do trade ins or leave your current one there on consignment, or sell it to him outright, then he'll go over it and sell it used.
It works out pretty good for everyone. Trade up to a new ride, or get a good deal on used.
This is also a tough time of the year in most places for this hobby because of the cold.

Your best bet is to ebay it. I sold a Maxx on there with verry little mods. rpm a arms, shock towers, etc. but It did have a fresh motor with less then 5tanks. It went for 375 on ebay

Thanks for your help I dont think I will be selling soon. I want to put some new tires on it and which is why I am trying to sell my guitar but I will probly head to ebay if I can sell it here Thanks
