Just tryin to find out the average weight of tmaxxs out there. Mine comes in at 10.4 lbs with stock tires...11.5 lbs with my moab xls on. It seems so heavy with those wheels on

Oh ya..mine is model 4907 (3.3 extended chassis).

my...

4907 weighs in at 9.25# w/ rpm arms and empty tank. Scales will differ a bit. I know mines off about .5 oz

I wish I had a scale to put my Maxx on. I am betting mines is about the same as Lessen's weight wise. Around 12-13lbs

What kind of gearing are you guys using? Are you guys having temp problems?

imagine if you had it nice and light??? My classic with the 3.3 I think might weigh a pound under what they come like even though bigger motor... My emaxx is probly 12 or so pounds alot of aluminum it makes my tmaxx feel light.

Id like to go lighter but i think it would break way too much i was out testing it today after putting it all back together done a WOT run and mis judged the kerb wen coming down the straight and didn't realise how close i was and bang straight in to the kerb bounced across the road done a couple barrel rolls and straight in to the side of the missus car . Not good lol flipped it back over and away she went .

U can make it light and strong. Mine only weigh 10.5 lbs and its damn near indestructible. I I've ran into a tree at full speed and just chipped ny bumper. After putting on a lot of metal parts, I've found myself takin em off. Only additional metal I have is a rc solutions cage, which I strongly recommend. I bash the hell outta mine and its been a while since I've broke nething.

it sounds like it l.o.l. But honestly everything has its weak points and good points...... as long as you get more good points its a fun day out at th track!
